Minimal Organic Beauty Regimen

I’ve been slowly making the switch to organic beauty products and I think I have finally came up with a solid beauty regimen with products I am happy to use.

Skin Care

My skin care routine is very simple and I only have two products that go into my skin care routine. The first product I use is Shea Moisture Shea Butter Soap. I use this in the morning and at night to wash my face. It is completely organic the only down side is that if you have dry skin it may dry out your face a bit. After I use the bar soap I follow up with Organic Coconut oil I use this as my moisturizer and I just apply a very small bit to my face and it works great. I have combination skin and I promise if you only apply a dab it will not make your face oily it actually helps me keep the oily areas of my face at bay through out the day.

Make up

If you haven’t picked up on it yet I am a huge fan of Shea Moisture products including their make up line. On a everyday basis I don’t wear much make up but Shea Moisture; mascara primer, eyeshadow, and eyeliner are my go to. I do use a bit of true match foundation because I haven’t been able to find a organic replacement for my foundation yet. If you guys have any suggestions for organic foundation please let me know in the comments below.

Nails

I don’t own fingernail polish. I hate when finger nail polish chips so I got rid of all of mine and if I want to get my nails done I will just go to the salon and get a gel manicure.

Hair

Coconut oil, cream gel and curl enhancing smoothie are my go to hair products. I wash my hair about twice a week and I use a lot of these products so I don’t have to apply it in between wash days. Shea Moisture cream gels are great for keeping defined curls for days. During the week I sleep with my hair in a pineapple and just spritz some water on it in the morning to rejuvenate my curls.
